Antonio's Cucina Italiana

We’ve been going to Antonio’s for dinner for many years . It has always been my favorite place to eat. However the last two times we were very disappointed. I usually order the fettuccini Alfredo or stuffed shells. My son and my husband usually get the meat ravioli. A few months ago we were there and the ravioli portions were very small. And my soup was cold. We were there again over the weekend. Our soup was cold again. My husband and son both got the meat ravioli. The ravioli tasted “freezer burned,” and the sauce had a distinct smell of old rotted meat. My husband never complains until we get home. And my son didn’t want to cause any issues. They both were very disappointed with their meals. Our total bill came to about $85 for three meals one glass of wine, one beer and one coke. I hope Antonio’s hasn’t jeopardized its good reputation by serving old meat and pasta. I’m very sad that we will probably never go there again as I said it was one of my most favorite restaurants

Hidden gem for good pasta , pizza and wines. I thoroughly loved the dining experience right from the wait time , cozy ambiance and warm service! The food was outstanding! They make fresh pasta everyday and you can tell from the taste! So delicious and flavorful! Right from the salad, soup, pizza and pasta every single dish was just so flavorful! Loved it! Solid five stars.

Absolutely delicious! Truly a life saver! My Mama had just got out of surgery and missed the cutoff for dinner, and she was craving some pasta. Quick Google search led us here and we are THRILLED to add this to our rotation! Pasta was FRESH fresh - pretty much melted in our mouths. Everything was still hot when we arrived back at the hospital, and the bread was halfway gone by the time we parked! Thank you and can't wait to come back!

My girlfriend wanted Italian and was really excited about this place. Most Italian restaurants I visit rarely perform above average. I read both good and bad reviews and was hesitant but decided to give it a try. From the first walk in, I felt like I was actually in Italy. The aesthetic of the place was really cool and every detail added to it. We got the calamari and it was hands down the BEST calamari I have ever ordered. It didn’t even need sauce, the flavor and crispiness was perfect. The man at the front desk suggested the Gnocchi Rita Sauce and that was also incredibly delicious. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the flavors of the sauce, mushrooms and bacon were perfect. The service was good and he brought out oil and vinegar at our request for the bread. I have to say I was very surprised and happy with this restaurant.

Wow, this place is amazing. We stayed in Novi for the night and found this gem in a shopping center near a Krogers. The staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient. The decor is awesome, and the atmosphere is very authentic Italian. We had the calamari limone appetizer. Probably The Best calamari I have ever had. The menu is varied and complete. The food is truly delicious. Reminds me of my great-grandmother's house. My wife had cannaloni, and I had the Baci. Both were very good and we would recommend this place and will definitely return when in area.

We dined around 7:30 on a Tuesday, and it was a little busy when we got there. We waited a few minutes to be sat, but then waited several to be greeted. Our server Lora, apologized and then took our order. It took a while for our bread and app to come out, and it ended up being brought out by someone else. By the time I got my soup it had been 30 minutes since being sat. We were a little frustrated because we wanted to get home and relax, so we asked someone else (maybe a busboy?) To ask our server for boxes. We saw the gentleman speak to our server AND point at our table. Our server came over and collected all of our dishes including our silverware and said our food would be out shortly. Our food came out not boxed. We immediately asked her for boxes. She said okay and after about 5 minutes we asked another server (she was blonde and younger) for boxes and she immediately got then and got our check. We sadly didn't catch her name. After we packed up our food, again despite asking for it in boxes, another server, Adam, grabbed all of our dishes and cashed us out. The most upsetting thing is our server only greeted us and took out order, checked in 1 time, brought the soup and food, but nothing else. No communication on what was taking so long, no apologies after we were clearly upset, nothing. Any communication would have made us feel much better.
